How long will it take before my design order is ready? After making your payment, the usual time it takes for your author swag design is between 3-7 business days depending on the quantity that you order. For custom front digital and or spine and back cover design you can expect 5-9 business days.
How can I pay for my order? After selecting the products you want by adding them to your Paypal cart, you will be taken to our PAYPAL page for processing. Credit Card details are collected and processed by PAYPAL. WE DO NOT STORE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO.
I don't like my design, can I request some changes? ABSOLUTELY! You may request from us up to 4 free revisions to all designs.
What kind of changes can/can't I request? For author swag design, please be very specific as to what you are wanting placed on your design from the beginning. This will prevent any back and forth switching out of wording and or material. After delivery of proof you may request up to 4 tweaks from color scheme to word placement etc...
For cover designs, we understand how tricky this can be for an author. You may have one vision of your cover but when you see it you completely change your mind. That is why we're here! After you purchase your cover, you'll receive an email from BID requesting you provide a detailed description of what you are wanting with your design. From there you'll receive advice on the design, go over model options, if applicable, and other design details such as desired color scheme, tone of the story, genre etc... For cover work you may request up to 4 modifications.
Do you design ads? Yes! Though they are on a case by case order. To order an ad design from BID, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide a detailed description of what you are wanting and we'll provide the cost and a personalized Paypal invoice delivered directly to your inbox.
We design ads for websites (animated or static) and magazines and now FB. Author will need to provide dimensions of add for the design work and all images and wording needed in the design.
Will my paid products be featured in your portfolio? Absolutely! Think of it as extra advertising!
Who is the copyright holder for ebook and print cover designs? Bookin' It Designs holds and owns the copyright to all cover work design concepts and/or Photoshop files created by Talina Perkins, owner of Bookin' It Designs. As the client/author, you own the jpeg image of the title(s) and have permission to create printed promotional material with the jpeg version of the cover art. In the case of a print cover, you have permission to use the design for physical unlimited print copies.
You, as the client/author do not have permission to use cover work designs by Talina Perkins/Bookin' It Designs with any third party publishing house unless the transfer of digital rights have been purchased from Bookin' It Designs. Nor does BID provide the PSD or AI files for any cover design unless rights have been purchased. For more information on the cost of transfer of rights, please contact Talina at email@example.com.
